Accredited by the The Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery was started in the academic year 2014-15. With an annual intake of 2 candidates, the course is 2 year duration.
Candidates who have completed M. S. (General Surgery) or D.N.B. (General Surgery) are eligible for the course.
The candidates have the opportunity to observe and participate in clinical practice in this pioneering institute and develop their own academic, clinical and research capabilities.
After successful completion of course and passing the examination conducted by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University the surgeons will be awarded the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery.
